Special Events: The EC Fall Luncheon and Our Holiday Party

Each Fall, all EC staff are invited to attend a Fall Luncheon which is designed to be a relaxing opportunity to kick off a new academic year, to get acquainted with some of our newer employees, recognize some of our accomplishments during the past year, and to share some brief information about the outlook ahead for our college. The luncheon is usually scheduled around mid-September after the initial rush dies down a bit at the beginning of the academic year. This is one of the few opportunities we all have to get together as members of the same college and to take advantage of a free meal! We strongly encourage you to attend if possible.

During the Christmas season, we usually have a Holiday Party when staff may bring their spouses or significant others along to enjoy some festive food and fun. A number of EC staff members assist with the planning of this activity and design it to be an enjoyable evening. Traditionally, we’ve had a "white elephant" gift exchange, and it’s always fun to see "who gets what"!
