Students Enrolled in Springfield Programs at the West Plains Campus
Students who are admitted to a Springfield academic program offered at the West Plains Campus are served by the Financial Aid Office on the Springfield Campus—even if some of their courses are offered by Missouri State University-West Plains. Procedurally, first these Springfield students should first obtain a Consortium Agreement form from the West Plains Office of Financial Aid (Looney Hall 201 or 417-255-7243), then complete the agreement and return it to the West Plains Office of Financial Aid no later than the first week of classes for each semester. It is encouraged that students complete the Consortium Agreement the same time they register for classes. This is a semester by semester process. The West Plains office will send the form to Springfield, and the student’s financial aid will be processed through the Springfield Financial Aid office. The West Plains Business Office can send the West Plains tuition charges to Springfield, and the Springfield financial aid would be applied to both schools’ charges. The permission form is included in the consortium packet.
