Credit Courses and Programs

Finish a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Technology at West Plains

Students with any Associate of Applied Science degree may be admitted to this program. Courses may be delivered through interactive video (BearNet) or online (Missouri State Online). This variety of delivery methods will facilitate course scheduling. Students completing this degree must be admitted to the Missouri State University-Springfield campus. Graduation can take place at the end of a semester in which the General Education Capstone course is taken, assuming all Missouri State University requirements have been met. The
following lower-division general education courses can be taken as part of the curriculum at Missouri State University-West Plains: PSY 121, ENG 100, ENG 220, HST 121/122
and PED 100.

Students should choose the appropriate General Education electives as part of the curriculum at Missouri State University-West Plains to satisfy the following groups: Natural World
(4 hours), Culture and Society: Humanities Perspective (3 hours), Self-Understanding: Humanities Perspective (3 hours) and Self Understanding: Creativity Perspective (3 hours).

The following courses should be taken for the 9 hour technical elective block in the AAS degree: ACC 201, QBA 237, ECO 155 (No 100-level or 200-level classes offered on the Missouri State University-West Plains campus can be substituted for 300-to 500-level classes offered on the Missouri State University-
Springfield campus.)
