Complete Your BSN in West Plains
The Department of Nursing at Missouri State University provides the opportunity
for registered nurses, prepared at the associate degree or diploma
level, to complete nursing courses and obtain a Bachelor of Science
in Nursing degree. Graduates of the BSN program are prepared as
generalists and can assume a variety of nursing positions in acute
care and community health settings. The BSN program is fully accredited
by the National League for Nursing.
Admission into the BSN degree program includes:
Current licensure as a registered professional nurse or graduate
nurse in the state of Missouri
60 hours of course credit (which includes 30 hours credit from previous
nursing courses)
A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0
grading scale
REQUIREMENTS:
NUR 306, NUR 342, NUR 472, NUR 656:
A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 grading scale
A registered or graduate nurse eligible to sit for the State Board
licensing examination
Admitted to Missouri State University
NUR 341, NUR 442, NUR 482
Fully accepted into the BSN program
Recommended by the Department of Nursing Admissions, Promotion and
