STEP 5: To Do List
Now there are several tasks that need to be completed that don’t require any decision making…just a small amount of time.
1) Be aware of payment deadline for your $60 deposit. Don’t make assumptions that Financial Aid will be available to cover this. If this deposit is not paid by the deadline, your semester registration will be cancelled.
2) Set up PIN number on "MY INFORMATION" page, if you have not already done so. This pin number will allow you access to all your personal information that the University has on file.
3) Obtain a photo ID. An ID is needed for the computer labs, library facilities, and BEAR mail account.
4) Set up your University computer accounts. Go to Cheek Hall, Room 150, or use the Computer Resources link on the “MY INFORMATION” page.
5) Obtain a parking permit. This can be ordered online using the link on the “MY INFORMATION” page. They will not mail your parking permit; it must be picked up in person at 700 E. Elm St.
6) Check out your booklist on “MY INFORMATION” page and order your books online.
7) Make plans to attend the Adult Student Welcome on the Saturday morning (8-12PM) before the semester begins. Information will be presented to an all adult student audience about the various resources on campus that are available and useful to the adult student returning to school. Food and beverages provided.
