New Scholarships
The “Return to Learn Scholarship’ will be awarded to adult undergraduate students (degree or non-degree seeking) who are enrolling in the first or second semester of his/her first college expereince (excluding summer session) or returning after an absence of three years or longer. The $1,000 scholarship (with $500 distributed over each of two semesters) is available to those who are 25 years of age and older enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours. For more information or to download an application go to: www.ce.missouristate.edu/evening/scholarships.htm The $2,000 “Continuation Scholarship” (awarded over two consecutive semesters) is restricted to adult students who have been previous recipients of the “Return to Learn Scholarship” as a way to reward them for their successes in their first two semesters of college work and to provide an incentive for them to continue at SMSU to meet their educational objectives.
