Admission, Registration, & Fee Information

Register for Classes

newNew office location for Registration Services: Fourth Floor (room 403) of the Jim D. Morris Center for Continuing Education at 301 South Jefferson, Springfield, Missouri. The building is accessible by the shuttle.

You may register on the web using your MyMissouriState account.  Follow the directions at the Registration page.

The Course Enrollment Form is an optional registration tool (select the form which pertains to the term for which you wish to register).  You will need to print off this form.  To print the form you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.   Use the PRINT button on your browser or choose PRINT from the FILE menu to print the form on your printer. Fill it out and follow the registration instructions on the second page of the form.

Please note:  you must obtain departmental or instructor permission, whichever is applicable, if you wish to register for a class which requires permission, or which has a pre-requisite that you have not taken at Missouri State University, or which is full.  The department or instructor can issue an electronic permission if approving.  The class will then be available to you either through web registration, or through the Course Enrollment Form submission.  You will need to obtain any departmental or instructor permissions/overrides that might be required.

Changes to your Semester Schedule

You may drop or add classes on-line through your MyMissouriState account.  Or if you wish, you may, once your initial registration for the semester has been processed, call us at 1-877-678-2005 (836-4126 in Springfield) for help with dropping or adding a class.  You may also withdraw from the entire semester’s schedule of classes; however, remember that you must do so before the end of the first week of classes – if 16-week classes – or you will be charged for the class(es).  Failure to attend a class does not automatically drop you from the class.

Fees for your Class

Your registration into a credit class results in charges to your student account.  Section specifics such as graduate or undergraduate level, location, length, or mode of delivery determine your cost for each class.  Your semester payments are due on separate payment schedules.  Do not submit payment with your Course Enrollment Form.  After your registration is processed, you may view your fees on-line, through your MyMissouriState account. Your monthly invoice from Missouri State University will be sent to your Live@missouristate.edu email account (which is set up when you set up your MyMissouristate account).

If you are not sure what your goals are and would like to talk to a Missouri State University staff member, please contact us at 417-836-4126 (toll-free 877-678-2005) or send us an email.
