Senior Citizen Fee Waiver Program

Missouri State University is pleased to offer a special fee waiver program for senior
citizens. Adults who are 62 years of age or older are eligible to
register for one (1) to eight (8) hours of class and have the required
student fees waived. However, the student must pay special course
fees, required textbooks and supplies, and parking fees. Classes
may be taken for credit or on an audit basis.
Participants in this program will be admitted to Missouri State University as nondegree-seeking students. The senior citizen registration can be done ONLY on a “seats available” basis on the Friday before the semester begins.
Special Registration for Senior Citizens:
Fall - August 22, 2008
9AM - Noon
Qualifying students in this classification are:
Nondegree-seeking students
Enrolling in either undergraduate or graduate courses (if postbaccalaureate)
Enrolling in no more than 8 credit hours per semester
Given the opportunity to use the fee waiver program towards a
maximum of 24 credit hours (There is no time limit on the accumulation
of the 24-hour maximum)
Not able to apply this waiver to intersession or special course
offerings
